| “Yet to Be Titled” Welcoming Suggestions June 2016 |
The colors in this painting symbolize chakra colors. This is mainly dealing with the struggle of finding balance with one’s heart chakra. Forces from the blue throat chakra of clarity and honesty collide with the forces of the yellow solar plexus chakra of ego and identity, using the heart space as the battle ground. In the midst of these energetic pulls and clashes are fleeting moments of red root chakra consciousness of insecurity and fear as well as violet third eye chakra consciousness of intuition and wisdom.
This scene was inspired by two trees pushing together, one of them flowering, in our front yard in Denver.
